A view of a cargo liner passing under the Golden Gate Bridge. The SF skyline can be seen in the distance. This photograph captured in December, 2004 was taken by Jim Epler during the Christmas Season in San Francisco, CA from the north vista (Marin Side) point. It is cataloged under the terms cities, architecture, landscapes & vistas, landmarks, transportation, coastal views and streets & bridges in this photography database.

The image was exposed on 35mm Kodak GOLD 200 color film stock using a Pentax Asahi Spotmatic II camera with a Asahi Pentax 135mm f/3.5 lens.

Photographer Comments: I'm sure the vessel made it under the bridge with plenty of room to spare, but from this particular angle it looked like a close call!!

Additionally, Jim thought of search words that someone might use to locate this picture including the terms San Francisco, marin, Bay, cargo, north vista point, ship, Golden Gate Bridge, boat and liner, so he included these on this page as a service to himself and others who would like to download this free photograph!
